Ngapaki Moetara

Ngapaki Moetara is a highly respected Māori actor and director based in Tairāwhiti. Known for her powerful screen presence and emotionally grounded performances, her career spans film, television and theatre. Her screen credits include acclaimed productions such as Waru, Boy, Far Northand Until Proven Innocent, where she has brought authenticity, strength and depth to a diverse range of roles.

A graduate of Toi Whakaari, Ngapaki holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in acting and directing.
