Georgia-May Russ

Georgia-May (Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Uekaha, Ngāti Ruapuha) is a versatile actor and creative with experience across screen and stage. A graduate of The Actors Program, Georgia-May has built a diverse body of work spanning television, film and theatre, alongside her work as a writer and director.

Her screen credits include Ahikāroa, as well as roles in a number of short films, while her extensive theatre background includes work with Company of Giants, Taurima Vibes and Ngā Hua Toi.

Georgia-May brings a strong understanding of storytelling to her performances, informed by her experience on both sides of the camera. Alongside acting, she has written and directed her own work, including the short film Tō Te Wai, and has directed across theatre, film and music video.

A grounded and thoughtful performer, Georgia-May brings warmth, creativity and a collaborative spirit to her mahi, with a particular passion for stories that connect people, culture and community.
